SitComs
My last post made me think how much sitcoms were a large part of my youth. We were almost synonymous. If it was a sitcom, I was watching it. Whether it was MASH, Taxi, Odd Couple, Honeymooners, Cheers, Seinfeld, Friends, Three's Company, etc etc etc.
I'd like to hear about your favorite sitcoms and if possible also favorite episodes of that sitcom.
Two of my favorites would have to be George as a marine biologist on Seinfeld and Woody's wedding on Cheers.
also, try and come up with an obscure sitcom that nobody remembers. Does anybody remember Double Trouble?
I apologize to my non-tv watching readers.

Tough to remember individual episodes..but growing up..I was hooked on all the sitcoms..from The Jeffersons..to Threes Company..to Gilligans Island (contrast that with Lost..lol)..Cosby Show..Cheers...they were all so good.
My faves aside from some you already mentioned as a kid... 'Bewitched' and 'I Dream of Genie'... also my total role model WonderWoman but was that considered a sitcom? I remember Double Trouble... that was fun! How about 'Its a Living' or 'Hunter'.... There are soooooo many though... thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Good ones david and frumgirl. I can't believe none of us mentioned the Brady Bunch.
I remember Double Trouble!! And I am sitting here singing the It's a Living theme song. How about 227? Anyone remember that one?
We weren't allowed to watch tv during the week when tv shows were on,but in later years I couldn't get enough and still can't of The Simpsons! My favourite ep, the one where Homer shows Bart the pitfalls of skateboarding!
We used to watch Bewitched together which I still think was a fun show.
Nobody - I totally agree! I also couldnt get through that movie!
NB...all these shows are coming out on DVD...I keep buying em up..lol
David- Whenever I see the esthetic looking boxsets that host old TV shows, I'm tempted to buy them, the price tags however completely turn me off.
These shows have already made their creators and performers rich and famous, can't they give these things normal prices?
prag...iTunes started putting up some TV shows for sale..like Knight Rider..theyre $1.99 an episode..
NB...shhhhh ;-)
NB..Jessica Simpson..nuu..what kind of lakewood gal are you?
;-)
I never watched a single episode of the Brady Bunch, but I have seen every episode of "What's Happening?"!!! My fave episode is when the Doobie Brothers were on...."Which Doobie you be?" Great stuff!!
